I lent my knee pads to a carpenter on a site job because he was complaining about his knees. he only went and nicked em. if i bump into him he'll be getting a size 10 straight to the knee cap!

Dave, B&Qs gardening mats are the best mate, we use them at the centre great for slinging around the floor quickly and saves you geting the old soreness at the back of the sockets that standard pads give you. Also I find that when I kneel down when wearing inserts they can get stuck just under the knee and when bending it pulls the trousers tight. Most uncomfortable I must add

Nope dont have one of those pads but do have dodgy knees. I like the idea of those rolling pads with a seat. Not practical for small areas though. I will stick with my trousers and pad inserts for the moment.

I was thinking of getting a kneeling pad instead of knee pads, Trade tiler does one which was ijnvented by a german knee surgeon...does anybody else use one..?.
