I need help

I have been asked to retile concrete steps out a house. It seems that when the ice and snow comes in the winter the tiles pop off is there any way to cure this. I have been tiling for a while but being at a mature age I kept myself to the warm indoors like hallways, bathrooms and kitchens . So any help would be great

Hiya, hopefully thiswill be of some help.
Firstly I would check it is concrete steps (not on a timber frame). Then I would ensure it is primed (not PVA).
Then use a cement powder based adhesive (check with your supplier the correct one).
Then use a suitable porcelain tile for outside use, ok with frost etc, a good tile supplier should advise you of the correct adhesive and tiles.
JOBS A GOODIN'
all i can suggest is that you prime the step and make sure the tiles are frost proof and you use a good flexible outdoor adhesive and grout?
Simple. Make sure it doesn't freeze before the tile adhesive dries fully otherwise the bond between the tile and the base will not work. If the water in the adhesive freezes, ice crystals prevent the bond from forming properly. SO DON'T TILE WHEN THERE IS A RISK OF FROST.
irst prime the surface not with pva.if the concrete is very shiny score a little with grinder and then prime.go to a reputable tile shop and get them to recomend a suitable exterior grade tile, adhesive, and grout.,
